Education and community projects have always played a central part in the Angell Trio's activities, and the members of the Trio are passionate about sharing their craft with younger and emerging musicians.

As a group, and individually, they have coached at many leading musical institutions including the Royal Academy of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Royal Welsh College of Music, The Stockholm Conservatoire, Berkeley University in San Francisco, as well as the Banff Centre winter programme in Canada.

They regularly give Side-by-Side concerts with younger musicians, most recently in collaboration with Royal Academy of Music and Trinity Laban Conservatoire students at Kings Place, as part of the London Chamber Music Society concert season.

Alongside their performances as Ensemble-in-Residence over several years at the University of Essex and Radley College, the Angell Trio has been involved in composition workshops and the recording of over 200 works written for them by keen young composers there.

6th Form College, Colchester:

"The workshop proved to be a hugely inspirational day and the Trio's advice was immensely valuable to the participating musicians."

Radley College:

"It was their helpfulness, friendliness, professionalism, immense skill and constant good humour that made the project such an enjoyable and rewarding experience."
